Since my healthy organic days in San Francisco, I've been in love with Farmer's Market.
There, you can find some super fresh veggies and fruits from independent farmers around Tokyo as well as original food from other parts of Japan.
So, today I got;
Apples from Aomori
White Miso from Niigata
Air-dried Tamayutaka Sweet Potato from Ibaraki
Fresh Veggies from Kamakura(located in Kanagawa)
And a bag of whole coffee bean from a cafe in Ginza, which supposedly has a long history
"Unfortunately, there's no good coffee bean available in Brazil since all the good ones are first exported to the outside world. Sorry!"
The local guy kindly said me that in the grocery store in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I got 2 pounds of organic coffee bean anyway. The coffee was not particularly tasty as the guy "warned," and I could find no trace of Brazilian coffee magic (I just coined the term for the convenient reason.) Yet, as I'm now seeing that bag of coffee bean getting small and empty, I feel a bit sad as if the memories in Brazil are fading away with that coffee.
